Hospital Information System
The Challenge
With 4 branches running different systems, a patient transferring between branches had to be re-registered from scratch. Doctors at one branch couldn't view a patient's history from another. Pharmacy inventory was managed separately per branch with no group-level visibility. Monthly billing reconciliation across branches took over two weeks.
What We Built
We built a centralized HIS with modules for outpatient and inpatient registration, electronic medical records (EMR), pharmacy and drug inventory, laboratory results, radiology, billing and insurance claims, and inter-branch referrals. A unified patient identity across all branches means one record follows the patient. Group-level reporting consolidates data from all branches in real time. The system was designed to BPJS billing standards for insurance claim automation.
The Outcome
Inter-branch patient transfer time reduced from 45 minutes of manual work to under 5 minutes. BPJS claim rejection rate dropped by 73% through automated eligibility checking. Pharmacy stockout incidents reduced by 82% through centralized inventory visibility. Monthly billing reconciliation reduced from 2 weeks to 2 days. Over 1,200 patient visits per day now processed across all branches.
