Foreign National Distribution Management
The Challenge
Foreign national records existed in 34 separate provincial databases that didn't communicate with each other. Overstay detection relied on manual cross-checking. Inter-agency data sharing with immigration, police, and labor authorities was done via physical documents. National-level reporting took weeks to compile.
What We Built
We designed a federated data architecture that unified provincial records into a national view while allowing each office to manage local data. Permit workflows were digitized with multi-level approval routing. Automated overstay alerts flag cases before expiry. Secure inter-agency data sharing APIs connected immigration, labor, and law enforcement systems. A national dashboard gave leadership real-time visibility across all provinces.
The Outcome
National reporting time dropped from weeks to real-time. Overstay detection improved by 91% through automated alerts. Inter-agency data requests that previously took 5–7 working days now resolve in under 24 hours. The platform tracks over 400,000 active foreign national records across all provinces.
